HOUSE DAY - 4 Houses, 1 Community
Congratulations to all those who participated in House Day on Friday the 23rd October.
On a chilly Friday, students and staff battled it out to assert supremacy over their rivals in numerous sporting and tabloid activities.
After the RED HOUSE students demolished the competition in the tug-of-war, their staffing reps could not produce the goods and failed in their attempt to back it up. ORANGE STAFF clearly dominated the rope and were very vocal in victory.
Winter Sports
With the the Fall Sport season heaing towards a close, LDSS is teeing up to dive into Winter Sports with a head of steam.
Girls Jr and Sr Basketball hold the hopes of LDSS Play-off dreams as the last teams standing for the Hawks. We wish them all the best in their last 2 games leading into the Play-offs.
Play Offs
With our Fall Sports season heading towards a close, we are starting to hit Play-off time.
Today (Tuesday 20/10) we have both our Girls Flag Football team and Jr Boys Soccer team in action in Play-off games. The Girls take to the field @ LDSS, 4pm against Marymount in a tie breaker for the play-offs. Last time the 2 teams met, we witnessed a tight affair, with the game going down to the wire in a 6-6 tie. Tonight, we expect no less and wish the girls well in what will be an action packed game. The winner of this game goes on to face Lockerby in the Quarter Finals.
